SUMMER READING CHALLENGE
Lowell Public Schools is once again participating in the Scholastic Summer Reading Challenge and our school has the opportunity to win prizes additional prizes from the Lowell Police Superior Officers Association and the Lowell Police Patrolman's Association.
Students received a letter with their log-in information.

WRITE all summer long
Students who spend some time writing over the summer return to school more ready. Spend a little time writing each week. You can write a letter to a teacher or a friend, describe a summer trip, or write a webpage to teach someone about an animal.
Here's a Story Writing activity to do online.
PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE
You can use iReady at school and at home! The iReady program allows students to work right at their own level. Encourage 4th graders to work on their iReady account once a week at home. Just follow this link and use your log in (ask your teacher if you forgot your log in)
You can also check out assignments and work on your writing in Google Classroom. Just use your regular school username and password to get into your Google Account from any computer or tablet with internet connection.
REMINDER: Students should not work on the computer for more than 20 minutes at a time.
